Acrylic Solid Surface Sheet Sizes: How to Plan an Order

There is no single universal solid surface sheet size. Manufacturers and product ranges offer different formats, and availability can depend on colour, grade, thickness and quantity.

Check the current format

Request the length, width, thickness and tolerances for the product being quoted. Confirm whether a requested large dimension is a single raw sheet or a fabricated assembly with joints. Avoid preparing production drawings from an old general size list.

Plan the cutting layout

List the finished components and consider pattern direction, seam positions, edge build-ups, cut-outs and offcuts. Compare usable yield from each sheet format. A larger sheet is not automatically more economical if the design creates additional waste.

Allow for shipping and installation

Review packing, handling weight, access routes and on-site assembly before selecting a component size. Confirm crate dimensions and lifting or unloading responsibilities in the quotation.

Send a complete enquiry

Include drawings, grade, colour, thickness, quantities and delivery destination. Request confirmation of availability and lead time before approving the order.
