Prepare the approval documents

Identify the application, grade, colour, thickness and finish. Ask for current product documents and any reports required by the client or relevant project professionals. A testing company’s name is not itself a certification, and a certificate must cover the actual product.

Review fabrication and installation

Provide drawings, tolerances, edge details, sinks, cut-outs and supports. Confirm who templates and installs locally. Review a joint sample, and approve a prototype for complex curved components.

Confirm commercial arrangements

Sample charges, courier costs, minimum quantity, custom colour development, lead time and packing need written confirmation. Do not rely on a general promise of a seven-day sample or a fixed warranty duration. Request the current warranty and claim procedure for sheets, fabricated products and adhesive separately.

Plan service after delivery

Inspect delivered goods before fabrication and retain batch records and spare material where practical. Use cutting boards and trivets, follow approved cleaning guidance and ask who can provide local refinishing or repairs.
