A colour alternative should be approved as its own product. Similar catalogue images or colour names do not establish an exact match between KSTONE and Corian or with an existing installation.
Inspect real samples
Compare hue, particle size, pattern direction, translucency and finish under the project lighting. A small chip may not represent a large veined surface. Ask for a larger sample or layout review where the pattern matters.
Approve a joint
Inspect a finished adhesive joint using the selected sheet and finish. Pattern transitions and adhesive colour can affect visibility. Do not promise an invisible seam across all colours.
Plan repairs and repeat orders
A different brand or later batch may not match an existing top. Retain the approved colour code, sample and spare material where practical. For phased projects, discuss batch supply and replacement expectations before ordering.
Keep the specification clear
Record the product that was actually approved, and obtain client approval for a substitution. Review relevant product documents and warranty separately from visual approval.
See the patterned collection and joint guide. Contact KSTONE with your specification and drawings for product-specific guidance.
