Choose adhesive for the selected solid surface product and joint application. Colour matching is only one part of a reliable joint: material compatibility, edge preparation, handling and cure also matter.
Confirm compatibility
Identify the sheet grade, colour and application when requesting adhesive. Obtain the technical and safety information. Do not assume one adhesive works for every sheet, outdoor installation or dissimilar-material attachment.
Approve the finished joint
Prepare a representative joint sample with the specified sheets and finish. Inspect colour, pattern continuity and visibility under final lighting. “Colour-matched” does not guarantee a literally invisible seam.
Follow working instructions
Confirm storage, shelf life, mixing or dispensing requirements, working time and cure conditions for the actual adhesive. Follow its safety guidance and the sheet fabrication instructions. Do not invent one universal curing time.
Review the joint design
Edge quality, support, seam location and installation loads can affect performance. Have the fabricator review the complete detail. A strong adhesive does not compensate for a poorly prepared or unsupported joint.
Plan the order
Include the required adhesive quantity, pack format and delivery timing with the sheet order. Check handling and shipping requirements and retain product identification for future repairs.
